このコンサートはとてもいいでした！ I was really happy for the rest of the day after listening to the music and watching the dancers. In fact, my parents, who also attended the concert, said they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to watch and listen to more of it. I additionally really enjoyed seeing the traditional clothing. It was fascinating to have a taste of what the imperial courts of Japan would listen to and watch, and to experience such a wonderful and interesting aspect of Japanese culture firsthand. I had never heard many of the instruments before, and it was also amazing to listen to so many new instruments on the same day. Before each new piece of music, I read the description in the program, and could imagine the story in my head while listening. I’m so happy the Kitanodai Gagaku Ensemble came to Princeton to perform. Their concert made me want to learn about Japan and Japanese language even more than I already did. I would also like to thank them for taking pictures with me afterwards. どうもありがとうございました！
